SUMMARY:4th Annual Austin Strong Ice Fishing Tournament
DESCRIPTION:This great event is typically held in Minnesota\, but this year we are bringing it home to Iowa! More details to come – ice anglers mark your calendars! You won’t want to miss it! \nRegistration Information:\nRegistration is day of event\, no pre-registration required. $30 per adult\n$15 per child (under 16)\nRegistration opens at 8am at the Central Park boat ramp 12515 Central Park Road\, tournament begins at 9am. \nRules:\nAll Iowa DNR licensing and fishing regulations apply. \nParticipants have the whole lake to use\, as long as ice conditions remain safe. Participants are able to utilize ice tents and baits of their choice.\nA Central weigh station will be located on the ice in the middle of the lake to weigh and score fish. Participants will bring their catch to the weigh station throughout the day for weighing. Fish must be alive at the time of weighing. A leader board will be posted and updated throughout the tournament. \nParticipants are permitted to keep any fish they catch within the daily catch limits of the DNR\, but are encouraged to release back after weighing. \nPrizes:\nPrizes for largest fish by weight of each species\, LMB\, Crappie\, Bluegill\, Sunfish\, smallest overall fish\, largest fish youth (under 16). In the event of a tie for any species\, the first fish caught will be the winner. Each participant is only allowed to win in 1 category. Prizes will be awarded at 1:30pm at the completion of the tournament at the main registration trailer. \nAmenities:\nSack Lunch will be available for purchase\, BBQ pork sandwich\, chips and water at the main registration trailer\nbetween 11am and 1pm. \nRaffle tickets for a firearm will be sold throughout the tournament as well as additional raffle items for donated prizes

We only ask that you not bring in any coolers\, as we will have food and drinks available for purchase! \nWe will have grab and go BBQ Pork sandwiches and sides\, soda\, water\, beer & wine. \nFor the safety of our guests and volunteers\, social distancing measures will be a top priority for us and we ask that you do the same. \nWe hope to see you there!
